  CHAPTER NEWS

bullet5 May 10 - Old Frontier Camp finds Heroes
Old Frontier Camp was quietly bivouacked at Camp Boughton when there rose such a clatter that the entire camp was aroused.  Two suspected scallywags were found tripping noisily through the discarded metallic implements relieved of those misguided souls with the mark of the crown.  The two were quickly captured and, after suitable trials, were discovered to be Sojourners in good standing.  They were quickly made Heroes of '76.  Pictured are Brothers Victor Henke and  Richard Schroder who were added to the roll.
bullet20 Jun 08 - In Memoriam - Bro. Jack Hansel passed to the celestial lodge above.   There will be a grave side service Thursday, June 26th at 1000 hours at Fort Leavenworth. Brother Jack was a great mason, Sojourner and Hero. Many of us have fond memories of him in the setting sun at Camp McAfee giving a toast to the flag.  This was his last Hero's encampment, June 2005. He will be missed. If you are free on Friday it would be nice if the Sojourner's could have a presence at the service.
